The Second Hermetic Principle embodies the truth that there is a harmony, agreement, and correspondence between the several planes of Manifestation, Life and Being. For the purpose of convenience of thought and study, the Hermetic Philosophy considers that the Universe may be divided into three great classes of phenomena, known as the Three Great Planes: The Great Physical Plane, The Great Mental Plane, and The Great Spiritual Plane.<\/strong>
\u7b2c\u4e8c\u689d\u8d6b\u723e\u58a8\u65af\u6cd5\u5247\u662f\u5c0d\u61c9\u6cd5\u5247\u3002\u5b83\u6307\u51fa\u5728\u986f\u73fe\uff0c\u751f\u547d\u548c\u5b58\u5728\u7684\u5e7e\u500b\u5c64\u9762\u4e4b\u9593\uff0c\u6709\u8457\u4e00\u7a2e\u548c\u8ae7\u3001\u7d71\u4e00\u3001\u548c\u5c0d\u61c9\u3002\u70ba\u4e86\u601d\u8003\u548c\u5b78\u7fd2\u7684\u65b9\u4fbf\uff0c\u8d6b\u723e\u58a8\u65af\u54f2\u5b78\u5c07\u5b87\u5b99\u73fe\u8c61\u5283\u5206\u70ba\u4e09\u5927\u5c64\u9762\uff1a\u5927\u7269\u8cea\u5c64\u9762\u3001\u5927\u5fc3\u7406\u5c64\u9762\u3001\u5927\u5fc3\u9748\u5c64\u9762\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Great Physical Plane, and its Seven Minor Planes, is that division of the phenomena of the Universe. It includes all forms of that which we call Matter, and all forms of that which we call Energy. But the Hermetic Teachings are that Matter is but a form of Energy– that is, Energy at a low rate of vibrations of a certain kind.<\/strong>
\u5927\u7269\u8cea\u5c64\u9762\u53ca\u5176\u4e03\u500b\u5c0f\u5c64\u9762\u662f\u5c0d\u5b87\u5b99\u73fe\u8c61\u7684\u5283\u5206\uff0c\u5b83\u5305\u62ec\u4e00\u5207\u7269\u8cea\u3001\u80fd\u91cf\u5f62\u5f0f\u3002\u4f46\u5728\u8d6b\u723e\u58a8\u65af\u7684\u6559\u5c0e\uff0c\u7269\u8cea\u53ea\u662f\u80fd\u91cf\u7684\u4e00\u7a2e\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u4ee5\u67d0\u7a2e\u4f4e\u7684\u983b\u7387\u632f\u52d5\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Great Mental Plane comprises those forms of “living things” known to us in ordinary life, as well as certain other forms not so well known except to the occultist. \u5927\u5fc3\u7406\u5c64\u9762\u5305\u62ec\u6211\u5011\u5728\u65e5\u5e38\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u5df2\u77e5\u7684\u90a3\u4e9b\u201c\u6709\u751f\u547d\u7684\u7269\u9ad4\u201d\u5f62\u5f0f\uff0c\u9084\u6709\u4e00\u4e9b\u50c5\u70ba\u795e\u79d8\u4e3b\u7fa9\u8005\u6240\u719f\u77e5\u7684\u5176\u4ed6\u5f62\u5f0f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Great Spiritual Plane, with higher states of Being, Life and Mind, is almost impossible to explain it to the Plane of Human Mind. Try to explain it is like explaining Light to a man who is born blind\uff1bexplaining sugar, to a man who has never tasted anything sweet\uff0cor explaining harmony to one born deaf?<\/strong>
\u5927\u5fc3\u9748\u5c64\u9762\u4f4f\u8457\u66f4\u9ad8\u7d1a\u7684\u5b58\u5728\u72c0\u614b\u3001\u751f\u547d\u548c\u5fc3\u9748\uff0c\u5b83\u5011\u7684\u5883\u754c\u5e7e\u4e4e\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u5411\u4eba\u985e\u5fc3\u610f\u8b58\u5c64\u9762\u7684\u4eba\u89e3\u8aaa\u3002\u8981\u5411\u9019\u4e9b\u4eba\u89e3\u8aaa\uff0c\u5c31\u6709\u5982\u5411\u5929\u751f\u96d9\u76ee\u5931\u660e\u7684\u4eba\u89e3\u91cb\u5149\u660e\uff0c\u5411\u5f9e\u6c92\u6709\u5690\u904e\u751c\u5473\u7684\u4eba\u89e3\u91cb\u7cd6\u662f\u4ec0\u9ebc\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5411\u4e00\u500b\u5929\u751f\u96d9\u8033\u5931\u8070\u7684\u4eba\u8aaa\u660e\u4ec0\u9ebc\u662f\u548c\u8ae7\u4e4b\u97f3\u4e00\u6a23\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

And occultists know that that which is known to them as “Spiritual Power” may be employed for evil as well as good ends. A fact which has been recognized by the majority of religions in their conceptions of Satan, Beelzebub, the Devil, Lucifer, Fallen Angels, etc.<\/strong>
\u795e\u79d8\u4e3b\u7fa9\u8005\u6e05\u695a\u4ed6\u5011\u6240\u6307\u7684\u201c\u5fc3\u9748\u529b\u91cf\u201d\u53ef\u88ab\u7528\u65bc\u597d\u7684\u65b9\u9762\uff0c\u540c\u6a23\u4e5f\u6703\u7528\u65bc\u58de\u7684\u65b9\u9762\u3002\u6240\u4ee5\u4ed6\u5011\u8166\u4e2d\u90fd\u6709\u50cf\u6492\u65e6\u3001\u5225\u897f\u535c\u9b54\u738b\u3001\u60e1\u9b54\u3001\u8def\u897f\u6cd5\u3001\u58ae\u843d\u5929\u4f7f\u7b49\u7b49\u9019\u4e9b\u5f62\u8c61\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most of us have heard the old adage that our outer world is nothing more than a reflection of our inner world \u2013 as within, so without, as above, so below.\u00a0 <\/strong>\u5927\u591a\u6578\u4eba\u807d\u904e\u53e4\u8001\u7684\u8afa\u8a9e\uff0c”\u5916\u5883\u662f\u5167\u5fc3\u7684\u986f\u73fe”\u3002\u5176\u5916\u5982\u5176\u5167\uff0c\u5176\u4e0b\u5982\u5176\u4e0a\u3002<\/strong>
\"Hwa<\/a> Law of Correspondence basically says that our current reality is a mirror of what is going on inside us. Our reality is a result of our inner most dominant thought. In order to change our outer world, we must first take a good look in the mirror and change the inner man. There are many things in our life that we don\u2019t have complete control over, but we do have total control over our thinking.<\/strong>
\u5c0d\u61c9\u6cd5\u5247\u57fa\u672c\u4e0a\u8aaa\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u76ee\u524d\u7684\u73fe\u5be6\u662f\u6211\u5011\u5167\u90e8\u767c\u751f\u7684\u4e8b\u60c5\u7684\u93e1\u50cf\u3002\u6211\u5011\u7684\u73fe\u5be6\u662f\u6211\u5011\u6700\u5167\u5fc3\u6700\u4e3b\u8981\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u7684\u7d50\u679c\u3002\u70ba\u4e86\u6539\u8b8a\u6211\u5011\u7684\u5916\u90e8\u4e16\u754c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u5fc5\u9808\u9996\u5148\u597d\u597d\u770b\u770b\u93e1\u5b50\uff0c\u6539\u8b8a\u5167\u5fc3\u3002\u6211\u5011\u751f\u6d3b\u4e2d\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u4e8b\u60c5\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u7121\u6cd5\u5b8c\u5168\u63a7\u5236\uff0c\u4f46\u6211\u5011\u80fd\u5b8c\u5168\u63a7\u5236\u662f\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chapter IX Vibration\u7b2c\u4e5d\u7ae0\u632f\u52d5\u6cd5\u5247<\/strong><\/span>
“Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates.”<\/strong>
\u6c92\u6709\u4e8b\u7269\u662f\u975c\u6b62; \u842c\u7269\u90fd\u5728\u79fb\u52d5;\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u5728\u632f\u52d5\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Hermetic Teachings are that not only is everything in constant movement and vibration, but that the “differences” between the various manifestations of the universal power are due entirely to the varying rate and mode of vibrations. Not only this, but that even THE ALL, in itself, manifests a constant vibration of such an infinite degree of intensity and rapid motion that it may be practically considered as at rest. Even on the physical plane a rapidly moving object (such as a revolving wheel) seems to be at rest.<\/strong>
\u7b2c\u4e09\u689d\u8d6b\u723e\u58a8\u65af\u6cd5\u5247\u662f\u632f\u52d5\u983b\u7387\uff0c\u5b83\u6307\u51fa\u5b87\u5b99\u842c\u7269\u7686\u975e\u975c\u6b62\uff0c\u800c\u90fd\u5728\u79fb\u52d5\u3001\u632f\u52d5\uff0c\u800c\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u73fe\u8c61\u986f\u5316\u662f\u6e90\u65bc\u5176\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u632f\u7387\u548c\u632f\u52d5\u6a21\u5f0f\u3002\u4e0d\u50c5\u5982\u6b64\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u5373\u4f7f\u662f\u672c\u9ad4\uff0c\u5b83\u672c\u8eab\u8868\u73fe\u51fa\u4e00\u7a2e\u7121\u9650\u7a0b\u5ea6\u7684\u5f37\u5ea6\u548c\u5feb\u901f\u904b\u52d5\u7684\u6301\u7e8c\u632f\u52d5\uff0c\u5b83\u53ef\u4ee5\u5be6\u969b\u4e0a\u88ab\u8996\u70ba\u975c\u6b62\u3002\u5373\u4f7f\u662f\u5728\u7269\u7406\u5c64\u9762\u4e0a\uff0c\u5feb\u901f\u79fb\u52d5\u7684\u7269\u9ad4\uff08\u5982\u5feb\u901f\u65cb\u8f49\u7684\u8f2a\u5b50\uff09\uff0c\u770b\u8d77\u4f86\u4e5f\u4f3c\u4e4e\u662f\u975c\u6b62\u7684\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Science teaches that all matter manifests the vibrations arising from temperature or heat. Be an object cold or hot, it manifests certain heat vibrations. Then all particles of Matter are in circular movement. The molecules are composed of Atoms. The atoms are composed of Corpuscles, called “electrons,” “ions,” etc., which also are in a state of rapid motion, revolving around each other, and which manifest a very rapid state and mode of vibration.<\/strong>
\u79d1\u5b78\u6559\u5c0e\u6240\u6709\u7269\u8cea\uff0c\u8868\u73fe\u51fa\u7531\u6eab\u5ea6\u6216\u71b1\u6240\u5f15\u8d77\u7684\u632f\u52d5\u3002\u4e0d\u7ba1\u4e00\u4ef6\u4e8b\u7269\u662f\u51b7\u6216\u71b1, \u5b83\u986f\u73fe\u51fa\u67d0\u7a2e\u7a0b\u5ea6\u7684\u71b1\u632f\u52d5\u3002\u7269\u8cea\u7684\u6240\u6709\u7c92\u5b50\u90fd\u5728\u4f5c\u5713\u5468\u5f62\u904b\u52d5\u3002\u5206\u5b50\u7531\u539f\u5b50\u6240\u7d44\u6210\uff0c\u539f\u5b50\u7531\u201c\u96fb\u5b50\u3001\u96e2\u5b50\u201d\u7b49\u5fae\u7c92\u5b50\u6240\u7d44\u6210\uff0c\u5b83\u5011\u4e5f\u8655\u65bc\u5feb\u901f\u904b\u52d5\u7684\u72c0\u614b\uff0c\u5f7c\u6b64\u76f8\u5c0d\u65cb\u8f49\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u8868\u73fe\u51fa\u975e\u5e38\u5feb\u901f\u904b\u52d5\u7684\u72c0\u614b\u548c\u632f\u52d5\u6a21\u5f0f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scientists have offered the illustration of a rapidly moving wheel, top, or cylinder, to show the effects of increasing rates of vibration. The illustration supposes a wheel, top, or revolving cylinder, running at a low rate of speed. Let us suppose the object moving slowly. It may be seen readily. Then, the motion being still further increased, the next highest note is distinguished. Then, one after another, all the notes of the musical scale appear, rising higher and higher as the motion is increased. Finally when the motions have reached a certain rate the final note perceptible to human ears is reached and the shrill, piercing shriek dies away, and silence follows.<\/strong>
\u79d1\u5b78\u5bb6\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u5feb\u901f\u79fb\u52d5\u7684\u8f2a\u5b50\uff0c\u9640\u87ba\u6216\u5713\u67f1\u9ad4\u7684\u4f8b\u8b49\uff0c\u4ee5\u986f\u793a\u589e\u52a0\u7684\u632f\u52d5\u983b\u7387\u7684\u5f71\u97ff\u3002<\/strong>
\u7576\u5b83\u5011\u8f49\u52d5\u7de9\u6162\u6642\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u5bb9\u6613\u5730\u770b\u5230\u5b83\u5011\u7684\u8f49\u52d5\u3002\u7576\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u65cb\u8f49\u3001\u632f\u52d5\uff0c\u5f9e\u4f4e\u5230\u9ad8\uff0c\u5c31\u6703\u767c\u51fa\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u97f3\u983b\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u7a2e\u65cb\u8f49\u901f\u5ea6\u90fd\u5c0d\u61c9\u4e00\u500b\u97f3\u983b\uff0c\u800c\u7576\u5176\u65cb\u8f49\u901f\u5ea6\u9054\u5230\u4e00\u5b9a\u7a0b\u5ea6\u6642\uff0c\u5176\u97f3\u983b\u56e0\u983b\u7387\u592a\u9ad8\uff0c\u5c31\u8d85\u8d8a\u4e86\u4eba\u985e\u807d\u89ba\u7684\u7bc4\u570d\uff0c\u523a\u8033\u7684\u5c16\u523a\u6d88\u5931\uff0c\u975c\u97f3\u96a8\u4e4b\u800c\u4f86\uff0c\u7559\u4e0b\u6c88\u9ed8\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Then comes the perception of rising degrees of Heat. Then after quite a time the eye catches a glimpse of the object becoming a dull dark reddish color. As the rate increases, the red becomes brighter. Then as the speed is increased, the red melts into an orange\u3001the orange melts into a yellow\uff0cthen successively, the shades of green\u3001blue\u3001indigo and violet. Then the violet shades away, and all color disappears, the human eye not being able to register them.<\/strong>
\u7136\u5f8c\u662f\u71b1\u5ea6\u4e0a\u5347\u7684\u611f\u89ba\u3002\u5728\u76f8\u7576\u9577\u7684\u6642\u9593\u4e4b\u5f8c\uff0c\u773c\u775b\u77a5\u898b\u7269\u8cea\u5448\u73fe\u6697\u7d05\u8272\u3002\u96a8\u8457\u983b\u7387\u7684\u589e\u52a0\uff0c\u7d05\u8272\u8b8a\u5f97\u8f03\u660e\u4eae\u3002\u7136\u5f8c\u96a8\u8457\u901f\u5ea6\u7684\u589e\u52a0\uff0c\u7d05\u8272\u878d\u5316\u6210\u6a59\u8272\u3001\u9ec3\u8272\u3001\u7da0\u8272\u3001\u85cd\u8272\u3001\u975b\u85cd\u3001\u53ca\u7d2b\u8272\u3002\u6700\u5f8c\u7d2b\u8272\u6f38\u6f38\u6d88\u5931\u3001\u6240\u6709\u7684\u984f\u8272\u6d88\u5931\uff0c\u4eba\u773c\u7121\u6cd5\u8a18\u9304\u5b83\u5011\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the above illustration, that at the stages at which the “object” throws off vibrations of light, heat, etc., it is not actually “resolved” into those forms of energy, but simply that it reaches a degree of vibration in which those forms of energy are liberated, in a degree, from the confining influences of its molecules, atoms and corpuscles.<\/strong>
\u5728\u4e0a\u9762\u7684\u4f8b\u5b50\u4e2d\uff0c\u5728\u201c\u7269\u9ad4\u201d \u6563\u767c\u51fa\u5149\uff0c\u71b1\u7b49\u7684\u632f\u52d5\u7684\u968e\u6bb5\uff0c\u5b83\u4e0d\u662f\u5be6\u969b\u4e0a\u201c\u5206\u89e3\u201d\u6210\u9019\u4e9b\u5f62\u5f0f\u7684\u80fd\u91cf\u3002\u5b83\u53ea\u662f\u8aaa\uff0c\u5b83\u9054\u5230\u4e00\u5b9a\u7a0b\u5ea6\u7684\u632f\u52d5\uff0c\u9019\u4e9b\u5f62\u5f0f\u7684\u80fd\u91cf\u5f9e\u5176\u5206\u5b50\uff0c\u539f\u5b50\u548c\u5fae\u7c92\u5b50\u7684\u7d04\u675f\u4e2d\u88ab\u91cb\u653e\u51fa\u4f86\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

But the Hermetic Teachings go much further. They teach that all manifestation of thought, emotion, reason, will or desire, or any mental state or condition, are accompanied by vibrations, a portion of which are thrown off and which tend to affect the minds of other persons by “induction.” This is the principle which produces the phenomena of “telepathy”.<\/strong>
\u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u8d6b\u723e\u58a8\u65af\u7684\u6559\u5c0e\u66f4\u9032\u4e00\u6b65\u3002\u4ed6\u5011\u6559\u5c0e\uff0c\u601d\u60f3\uff0c\u60c5\u611f\uff0c\u7406\u6027\uff0c\u610f\u5fd7\u6216\u9858\u671b\uff0c\u6216\u4efb\u4f55\u5fc3\u7406\u72c0\u614b\u6216\u72c0\u6cc1\u7684\u4e00\u5207\u986f\u73fe\uff0c\u90fd\u4f34\u96a8\u8457\u632f\u52d5\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u88ab\u91cb\u51fa\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u901a\u904e\u201c\u611f\u61c9\u201d\u5f71\u97ff\u5176\u4ed6\u4eba\u7684\u5fc3\u9748\u3002\u9019\u662f\u7522\u751f\u201c\u611f\u61c9\u201d\u73fe\u8c61\u7684\u6cd5\u5247\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

As one of the old Hermetic writers has truly said:<\/strong>
“He who understands the Principle of Vibration, has grasped the scepter of Power.”<\/strong>
\u5982\u540c\u53e4\u54f2\u4eba\u6240\u8ff0\uff1a\u7406\u89e3\u632f\u52d5\u6cd5\u5247\u8005\uff0c\u5df2\u7d93\u638c\u63e1\u80fd\u529b\u7684\u6b0a\u6756\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chapter X Polarity \u7b2c\u5341\u7ae0\u6975\u6027\u6cd5\u5247<\/strong><\/span>
“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.”<\/strong>

Then passing on to the Physical Plane, they illustrate the Principle by showing that Heat and Cold are identical in nature, the differences being merely a matter of degrees. The thermometer shows many degrees of temperature, the lowest pole being called “cold,” and the highest “heat.” Between these two poles are many degrees of “heat” or “cold,” call them either and you are equally correct. The higher of two degrees is always “warmer,” while the lower is always “colder.” There is no absolute standard-all is a matter of degree. There is no place on the thermometer where heat ceases and cold begins. It is all a matter of higher or lower vibrations.<\/strong>

Light and Darkness are poles of the same thing, with many degrees between them. The musical scale is the same–starting with “C” you move upward until you reach another “C” and so on.<\/strong>
The scale of color is the same-higher and lower vibrations being the only difference between high violet and low red. \u5149\u660e\u548c\u9ed1\u6697\u662f\u540c\u4e00\u4ef6\u6771\u897f\u7684\u6975\u9ede\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u4e4b\u9593\u6709\u5f88\u591a\u5ea6\u6578\u3002\u97f3\u968e\u4e5f\u662f\u76f8\u540c\u7684 – \u5f9e\u201cC\u201d\u958b\u59cb\u5411\u4e0a\u79fb\u52d5\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u4f60\u5230\u9054\u53e6\u4e00\u500b\u201cC\u201d\uff0c\u7b49\u7b49\u3002\u984f\u8272\u7684\u7b49\u7d1a\u662f\u76f8\u540c\u7684 – \u66f4\u9ad8\u548c\u66f4\u4f4e\u7684\u632f\u52d5\u662f\u9ad8\u7d2b\u548c\u4f4e\u7d05\u4e4b\u9593\u7684\u552f\u4e00\u5dee\u5225\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

And so it is on the Mental Plane. “Love and. Hate” are generally regarded as being things diametrically opposed to each other; entirely different; unreconcilable. But we apply the Principle of Polarity; we find that there is no such thing as Absolute Love or Absolute Hate, as distinguished from each other. Beginning at any point of the scale we find “more love,” or “less hate,” as we ascend the scale; and “more hate” or “less love” as we descend this being true no matter from what point, high or low, we may start.<\/strong>

And it is this fact that enables the Hermetist to transmute (\u86fb\u8b8a\u3001\u8f49\u8b8a) one mental state into another, along the lines of Polarization. Things belonging to different classes cannot be transmuted into each other, but things of the same class may be changed, that is, may have their polarity changed.<\/strong>

Thus Love never becomes East or West, or Red or Violet-but it may and often does turn into Hate and likewise Hate may be transformed into Love, by changing its polarity. Courage may be transmuted into Fear, and the reverse. Hard things may be rendered Soft. Dull things become Sharp. Hot things become Cold. And so on, the transmutation always being between things of the same kind of different degrees. \u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u611b\u6c38\u9060\u4e0d\u6703\u8b8a\u6210\u6771\u65b9\u6216\u897f\u65b9\uff0c\u6216\u7d05\u8272\u6216\u7d2b\u8272 – \u4f46\u5b83\u53ef\u80fd\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u7d93\u5e38\u8b8a\u6210\u618e\u6068\uff0c\u540c\u6a23\u6068\u53ef\u4ee5\u901a\u904e\u6539\u8b8a\u5b83\u7684\u6975\u6027\u8f49\u8b8a\u6210\u611b\u3002\u52c7\u6c23\u53ef\u80fd\u6703\u8b8a\u6210\u6050\u61fc\uff0c\u4f46\u6050\u61fc\u4e5f\u53ef\u4ee5\u8b8a\u6210\u52c7\u6c23\u3002\u786c\u7684\u6771\u897f\u53ef\u4ee5\u5448\u73fe\u8edf\u3002\u920d\u7684\u6771\u897f\u8b8a\u6210\u5229\u3002\u71b1\u7684\u6771\u897f\u8b8a\u51b7\u3002\u7b49\u7b49\uff0c\u8b8a\u5316\u7e3d\u662f\u5728\u540c\u4e00\u7a2e\u4e0d\u540c\u7a0b\u5ea6\u7684\u4e8b\u7269\u4e4b\u9593\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the Principle of Polarity is once grasped, and it is seen that the mental changes are occasioned by a change of polarity – a sliding along the same scale – the hatter is readily understood. The change is not in the nature of a transmutation of one thing into another thing entirely different-but is merely a change of degree in the same things.<\/strong>

When it is understood that Mental Induction is possible, we can readily see how a certain rate of vibration, or polarization of a certain mental state, may be communicated to another person. \u7576\u7406\u89e3\u5230\u5fc3\u7406\u611f\u61c9\u662f\u53ef\u80fd\u7684\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u53ef\u4ee5\u5bb9\u6613\u5730\u770b\u5230\u5982\u4f55\u5c07\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u632f\u52d5\u983b\u7387\u6216\u67d0\u7a2e\u5fc3\u7406\u72c0\u614b\u7684\u6975\u5316\u50b3\u905e\u5230\u53e6\u4e00\u500b\u4eba\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Everything flows out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right, is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.”<\/strong>

The Principle manifests in the creation and destruction of worlds; in the rise and fall of nations; in the life history of all things; and finally in the mental states of Man. Thus it is with all living things; they are born, grow, and die–and then are reborn. So it is with all great movements, philosophies, creeds, fashions, governments, nations, and all else-birth, growth, maturity, decadence, death-and then new-birth. The swing of the pendulum is ever in evidence.<\/strong>

The Hermetic Masters discovered that there were two general planes of Consciousness, the Lower and the Higher, the understanding of which fact enabled them to rise to the higher plane and thus escape the swing of the Rhythmic pendulum which manifested on the lower plane.<\/strong>
\u8d6b\u723e\u58a8\u65af\u5927\u5e2b\u767c\u73fe\uff0c\u6709\u5169\u500b\u7684\u610f\u8b58\u5c64\u9762\uff0c\u4f4e\u548c\u9ad8\u3002\u7406\u89e3\u9019\u500b\u4e8b\u5be6\u4f7f\u4ed6\u5011\u80fd\u5920\u4e0a\u5347\u5230\u8f03\u9ad8\u7684\u5c64\u9762\uff0c\u5f9e\u800c\u9003\u907f\u8868\u73fe\u5728\u8f03\u4f4e\u5c64\u9762\u64fa\u52d5\u7684\u7bc0\u594f\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

In other words, the swing of the pendulum occurred on the Unconscious Plane, and the Consciousness was not affected. This they call the Law of Neutralization. Its operations consist in the raising of the Ego above the vibrations of the Unconscious Plane of mental activity, so that the negative-swing of the pendulum is not manifested in consciousness, and therefore they are not affected. It is akin to rising above a thing and letting it pass beneath you.<\/strong>

There are other features of the operation of this Principle of Rhythm, known as the Law of Compensation. The Law of Compensation is that the swing in one direction determines the swing in the opposite direction. The pendulum of the clock swings a certain distance to the right, and then an equal distance to the left. The seasons balance each other in the same way. The tides follow the same Law. And the same Law is manifested in all the phenomena of Rhythm.<\/strong>
\u7bc0\u594f\u6cd5\u5247\u64cd\u4f5c\u7684\u5176\u4ed6\u7279\u5fb5\uff0c\u88ab\u7a31\u70ba\u88dc\u511f\u6cd5\u5247\u3002\u88dc\u511f\u6cd5\u5247\u662f\u5728\u4e00\u500b\u65b9\u5411\u4e0a\u7684\u64fa\u52d5\u6c7a\u5b9a\u4e86\u5728\u76f8\u53cd\u65b9\u5411\u4e0a\u7684\u64fa\u52d5\u3002\u6642\u9418\u7684\u9418\u64fa\u5411\u53f3\u64fa\u52d5\u4e00\u5b9a\u8ddd\u96e2\uff0c\u7136\u5f8c\u5411\u5de6\u79fb\u52d5\u76f8\u7b49\u7684\u8ddd\u96e2\u3002\u5b63\u7bc0\u4ee5\u76f8\u540c\u7684\u65b9\u5f0f\u5f7c\u6b64\u5e73\u8861\u3002\u6f6e\u6c50\u9075\u5faa\u540c\u6a23\u7684\u6cd5\u5f8b\u3002\u540c\u6a23\u7684\u5f8b\u6cd5\u4e5f\u9ad4\u73fe\u5728\u7bc0\u594f\u7684\u6240\u6709\u73fe\u8c61\u4e2d\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Law of Compensation plays an important part in the lives of men and women. It will be noticed that one generally “pays the price” of anything he possesses or lacks. The things that one gains are always paid for by the things that one loses. The rich possess much that the poor lack, while the poor often possess things that are beyond the reach of the rich. The millionaire may have the inclination toward feasting, and the wealth wherewith to secure all the dainties and luxuries of the table, while he lacks the appetite to enjoy the same; he envies the appetite and digestion of the laborer.<\/strong>
\u88dc\u511f\u6cd5\u5247\u5728\u4e00\u500b\u4eba\u7684\u4e00\u751f\u4e2d\u767c\u63ee\u8457\u91cd\u8981\u4f5c\u7528\u3002\u5c07\u6ce8\u610f\u5230\uff0c\u4e00\u500b\u4eba\u901a\u5e38\u8981\u5c0d\u4ed6\u64c1\u6709\u7684\u6216\u7f3a\u4e4f\u7684\u201c\u4ed8\u51fa\u4ee3\u50f9\u201d\u3002\u4e00\u500b\u4eba\u7372\u5f97\u7684\u6771\u897f\u7e3d\u662f\u7531\u4e00\u500b\u5931\u53bb\u7684\u6771\u897f\u652f\u4ed8\u3002\u5bcc\u4eba\u64c1\u6709\u5f88\u591a\uff0c\u800c\u7aae\u4eba\u7f3a\u4e4f\uff0c\u4f46\u7aae\u4eba\u5e38\u5e38\u64c1\u6709\u5bcc\u4eba\u7121\u6cd5\u9054\u5230\u7684\u6771\u897f\u3002\u767e\u842c\u5bcc\u7fc1\u53ef\u80fd\u50be\u5411\u9957\u5bb4\u4ee5\u53ca\u8ca1\u5bcc\uff0c\u78ba\u4fdd\u684c\u5b50\u7684\u6240\u6709\u7cbe\u7dfb\u548c\u5962\u4f88\uff0c\u4f46\u4ed6\u7f3a\u4e4f\u4eab\u53d7\u5b83\u7684\u617e\u671b;\u4ed6\u7fa8\u6155\u90a3\u4e9b\u7f3a\u4e4f\u767e\u842c\u5bcc\u7fc1\u7684\u8ca1\u5bcc\u548c\u50be\u5411\u7684\u52de\u52d5\u8005\u7684\u98df\u617e\u548c\u6d88\u5316\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.”<\/strong>

“Chance” is merely an expression relating to obscure causes; causes that we cannot perceive; causes that we cannot understand. Chance is derived from “to fall” (as the falling of dice). \u201c\u610f\u5916\u201d\u53ea\u662f\u4e00\u500b\u8207\u6a21\u7cca\u7684\u539f\u56e0\u6709\u95dc\u7684\u8868\u9054; \u5c0e\u81f4\u6211\u5011\u4e0d\u80fd\u5bdf\u89ba\u3001\u4e0d\u80fd\u7406\u89e3\u3002\u610f\u5916\u4e00\u8a5e\u6e90\u81ea\u65bc \u201c\u4e0b\u8dcc\u201d\uff08\u5982\u9ab0\u5b50\u88ab\u64f2\u4e0b\uff09\u3002<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing ever “happens” without a cause, or rather a chain of causes. The majority of people are more or less the slaves of heredity, environment, etc., and manifest very little Freedom. They are swayed by the opinions, customs and thoughts of the outside world, and also by their emotions, feelings, moods, etc.<\/strong>
